Dubai, which is already famous for its enormous skyscrapers like the Burj Khalifa, will soon have a resort in the shape of the moon with extraordinary features. According to sources, the 'Moon Dubai resort would reportedly be built for a staggering USD 5 billion.

The resort will make it appear as though the moon has been positioned in Dubai. Reports claim that the Moon World Resort will be an opulent lunar structure and will be measured as high as 200 meters in height and 600 meters around.

People who cannot afford Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos' space trip experience will now be able to feel the moon, due to commendable efforts of the ‘Moon Resort’ project. For those who don’t know, a lunar colony will be built around the "moon," to simulate or at least approximate the sensation of being on the moon.

In addition, the Moon World Resort will contain about 300 private boutique houses housed in the shape of a disc of the main building called sky villas, and guests can reserve any of them according to their preferences. Guests can enter the exclusive private members' club on the Moon World Resort grounds if they buy a villa there.

The luxurious hotel, which will be fashioned to resemble the lunar surface, is expected to be constructed in 48 months and reach a height of 735 feet altogether. The Resort will be built to a Five Star quality and offer services at a Five Diamond level.

According to the architectural organization, Moon Dubai resort will fuel Emirate’s economy in areas including hospitality, tourist attractions, entertainment, education, environment, technology, and space tourism.

However, according to one of the two Canadian businessmen behind the idea, Michael Henderson, there are currently no firm plans for the resort to operate in Dubai. Instead, they want to license four Moon destination resorts in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa.
